Our parkour classes are held outdoors, where parkour is supposed be, and focus on functional movement in overcoming physical obstacles.
Using the various vaults and moves generally accepted in the parkour community, students will learn to utilize their bodies’ natural abilities (bipedal and quadrupedal movement, climbing, jumping, and balancing) to overcome obstacles in a fluid manner while maintaining momentum. They will also be preparing their bodies to endure the stresses placed on them during parkour by undergoing muscle conditioning designed to increase strength, speed, agility, quickness, balance, stabilization, reflexes, coordination, and rate of force production.
